What is a community initiative event?

Do you want to support your local charity organization, be invovled in your community, and have a fun idea? If so, consider hosting a community inititative event, to raise funds and awareness in support of Autism Nova Scotia!

Hosting an independant event is a valuable way to not only help Autism Nova Scotia generate more autism awareness accross the province, it also provides oppurtunties to increase out networks and fundraising reach.

What kinds of events can you host?

Anything from contests, sporting events, bake sales, tournaments- let your creativity flow! Take a look at our events calender and Facebook pages for past third party events and fundraising ideas.

How can you get involved?

If you wish to host an Independant Fundraising Event on behalf of Autism Nova Scotia, we reuqest that you complete and submit our Event Proposal Form for approval 90 days prior to your event. This will assist to establish clear parameters and expectations for all parties involved in the activity or event.
