AASEN

The Atlantic Autism Supports and Employment Network (AASEN) is an innovative employment and skills support network developed in response to COVID-19. The Network comprises organizations from Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland. The network meets regularly to share resources, discuss barriers, and create innovative programs and supports to meet the needs of Autistic job seekers across the Atlantic Provinces. Within the AASEN project, each organization offers Autism Nova Scotia’s model of Employment Support Group and Career Quest.

AASEN supports autistic individuals/people with autism in accessing employment opportunities, create continuous collaboration of network partners and ensure the re-construction of the labour market is inclusive and mindful of the need for resilient support structures for autistics/people with autism.
