2026 Joan Craig Trailblazer Award Nomination

Thank you for taking the time to recognize the outstanding achievement of an exceptional individual who is a champion for the autism community.

The Joan Craig Trailblazer Award is given to an individual with a steadfast commitment to advancing the work of Autism Nova Scotia by creating awareness, acceptance, and opportunities for Autistic individuals and their local community.

This award is presented annually to a change-maker who has made a tremendous contribution to inclusion and neurodiversity in the province.

Criteria:

The individual has made a significant contribution to Autism Nova Scotia and the autism community
The individual helps to build understanding, acceptance, and inclusion
The individual advocates for equitable access for everyone
Must be a resident of Nova Scotia
Please note: current Autism Nova Scotia employees and provincial board members are not eligible.
