SibsCONNECT
Sibling relationships are typically the longest lasting relationships within a family unit, and therefore siblings play a huge role in the overall development of each other.
The SibsCONNECT program offers children and youth who have an Autistic sibling the opportunity to enjoy a variety of social activities. It focuses on creating a safe space for participants to talk about their experiences with autism, engage in team-building exercises, boost self-esteem and expression, and receive education on autism.
Ages/Life Stage: Siblings, Ages 9-13
Registration: Fall 2024 Registration Link opens at noon on August 7. The Fall 2024 program will run on Mondays between 6 PM – 7:30 PM from 09/16/2024 – 12/09/2024.

Location(s): Autism Nova Scotia’s Pinwheel Wellness Centre located inside Bedford Place Mall
Description: SibsCONNECT is a 10-week program held one evening a week. While there will be some education on autism, participants of SibsCONNECT will learn a lot about themselves as individuals, while having fun and meeting new friends.
