Prior to joining Pinwheel in 2024, Kristy worked in family counselling, supporting people from diverse backgrounds through transition and conflict. Now, as an ADHD-Certified Clinical Services Provider, she continues that work with Neurodivergent folx on their journey of personal growth. She uses cognitive and behavioural therapy approaches to bring awareness to your goals and help you align. She likes to practice skills in sessions, so that you’re leaving confidently equipped. Working with Kristy you can expect to try out mindfulness, emotional regulation, grounding, and release techniques in a safe and contained setting.

Fun facts & hobbies:

I excelled at work and took so much joy from it, until I realized it was burning me out. Now I work part-time and am finding joy again by connecting with family and friends (and dragging them on the occasional hike). I like to curl up in a cozy chair with a book and read in silence as self-care, and on weekends am mostly fueled by cinnamon toast crunch cereal.
