Netflix Virtual Watching Parties
Autism Nova Scotia is offering a NEW online program through Netflix, to help provide social opportunities for teens and adults with autism during Public Health Canada’s recommended social distancing period. This program is open to teens and adults with autism across Nova Scotia.
We will be hosting a movie through the google chrome extension 'Netflix Party' which allows you to watch a movie simultaneously with friends, while chatting in the chat functions directly on Netflix.Netflix Virtual Watching Parties
will take place on Fridays at 2 pm. Attendees will join using their own Netflix account and link to Autism Nova Scotia stream to sync up the movie with all attendees and be able to live chat with other Autism Nova Scotia attendees. An Autism Nova Scotia staff, volunteer or student will be present to help support and run the sessions. We will vote for our weekly movies in the Netflix Party Chat, each week.Attendees will need:
- their own Netflix account
- computer or tablet with Google Chrome
