Weekend Rec & Respite

Welcome to Weekend R&R!

Weekend Rec and Respite is a monthly opportunity for individuals with diverse needs ages 6+ whos families have been denied provincial funding for respite to access respite in a group program setting. 

Weekened R&R (Rec and Respite) will be offered on a monthly schedule with 1 weekend allocated for each age group. The sessions will be 4 hours long and will be FREE of cost to families. 
 
Saturday April 30th 2022 - ages TBD 9:00AM - 1:00PM at St. Andrews Anglician Church Dartmouth 
Saturday May 14th 2022  - ages TBD 9:00AM - 1:00PM at St. Andrews Anglician Church Dartmouth 
Saturday May 21st 2022- ages TBD 9:00AM - 1:00PM at St. Andrews Anglician Church Dartmouth 
Saturday May 28th 2022- ages TBD 9:00AM - 1:00PM at St. Andrews Anglician Church Dartmouth 

*please note as of right now; Dartmouth is the only location available. We are working to find other available locations in other areas; however it it not guaranteed that they will become available. This program will be pausing during the months of June, July and August as our entire program team will be facilitating the Ben James Summer Camp. 
 

If you are interested in applying for this program, applications are open as of April 29th at 12:00PM (noon) and will remain open. Once we have confirmed your spot; we will send you a confirmation email with all the program details. After you have attented a weekend; your name will then go into a rotation for future available spots. Priority will be given to families and individuals who have never attended before. 

Please note: this program is first come first serve. Families will have the opportunity to access this program more than once depending on available spots.
