Talking about Healthy Relationships

At Autism Nova Scotia we believe in the power of dreams and building an inclusive community for everyone. We believe in the joy we see in people’s eyes as they embark on a journey of self-discovery, that they might not have had access to without your help.
One of the ways we support our community is through our inclusive summer camps. These camps provide a safe space where Autistic children and youth thrive, grow, and make memories that last a lifetime.
Every summer, compassionate counsellors like Mikayla Fisher witness powerful transformations. Children and youth who may be turned away from other recreational camps find a warm embrace with trained counsellors offering 1:1 support. With your help, camp becomes a space where everyone is fully accepted without fear of being left out or feeling different.
The impact of Autism Nova Scotia summer camps is profound. At Ben James Summer Camp and our other camps across the province, we’ve seen children and youth find their voices. Once shy and hesitant campers like Alex Turpin blossom into enthusiastic leaders, and parents shed tears of gratitude for the newfound abilities their children exhibit.
The impact of our summer camps is deep and far-reaching. This holiday season, we ask you to help fuel the camp experience. Your donation can change lives, spark joy, and make a difference that resonates for years to come. Please give generously.
