Autism Nova Scotia is excited to welcome two extraordinary East Coast culinary talents to our 11th Best of Local gala stage on October 17th:
East Coast Canadian Head Chef Gabrielle LeGuerrier has cooked for world leaders, many celebrities, and most notably, her last job before the creation of Gourmetgab Events by Pertu – was Sous chef to Her late Majesty the Queen of England. She is not only a Michelin-trained chef but is also very passionate about teaching as she helped open the Jamie Oliver Cookery School alongside Jamie Oliver himself in London, UK.
Now celebrating their fourth year of business – Chef Gabrielle LeGuerrier with her husband European Sommelier Gabor Bodo- are transforming the culinary landscape by delivering upscale dining experiences paired with wine directly to households throughout Nova Scotia and across the country.
We are looking forward to having Chef Gabrielle join us from the stage on October 17th.
We are thrilled to welcome Chef Ivan Chan back to the Best of Local stage on October 17th. Chef Ivan Chan’s restaurant, The Orient Chinese Cuisine, was ranked #6 in Curated Food & Drink Magazine’s 50 Best Places to Eat in 2023. Chef Chan’s accolades include being the 2020 Canadian Culinary Championship Nova Scotia Final Gold Medalist and the 2017 Canadian Culinary Championship Nova Scotia Final Bronze Medalist.
Chef Chan’s commitment to culinary excellence is matched by a dedication to sustainability and community, supporting ethical practices and local farmers. At the heart of his mission is a passion for bringing people together through the universal language of exceptional food.
