Dear [MLA Name],

My name is [Your Name], and I am writing to express my concern about the recent provincial funding cuts affecting programs and services that support Autistic individuals and the disability community in Nova Scotia.

Programs offered by Autism Nova Scotia, including mental health supports, family respite, and employment services, are essential in helping Autistic individuals gain independence, develop skills, and participate fully in the workplace and their communities.

Cuts to these programs will increase isolation, limit opportunities, and place added stress on circles of care. For many, these services are not optional – they are critical for living connected, supported, and meaningful lives.

I respectfully urge you to consider the real-life impact of these funding reductions and to support measures that sustain and strengthen programs for Autistic Nova Scotians and the disability community.

Thank you for taking the time to read my letter and for your ongoing commitment to our community.

Sincerely,

[Your Name]
