Autism Nova Scotia has some big news to share!
We are excited to announce that our two Central offices are moving to a new location this spring! This move will combine our Spring Garden Road and Bedford Highway (Sun Tower) locations into one space to better serve our community in an accessible new office for HRM.
We are so grateful for the many years spent at Spring Garden Road and Sun Tower. Both spaces have enabled us to evolve and grow to become the organization we are today.
Now, the time has come to move into one space that will facilitate even more growth as we move into a future full of possibilities!
We understand that this will be a big change for many people. Please know that we are committed to making the transition as smooth as possible for everyone.
Office Closures:
Our Spring Garden office is now closed, and our Bedford office will close on May 23.
New Location:
Our Spring Garden and Bedford offices will move to 2737 Joseph Howe Drive in the West End of Halifax. Staff from the Spring Garden Road office moved in April, and the Bedford office will be moving in May, with the entire move completed by June.
Our new office will be located on the 2nd floor of this two-storey building, which is part of the Manulife Business Campus complex. The new office includes beautiful new spaces for QuickStart Nova Scotia, employment services and recreation programming, along with our Central office administrative teams.
Parking & Access:
Parking spaces will be available for families and program participants, identified with the Autism Nova Scotia logo, at the back of the building, which is where our entrance is located. There is also an elevator with access to the 2nd floor.
Public Transit:
The new office can be accessed via Highway 102 or Joseph Howe Road. It is close to the Halifax Shopping Centre and the Armdale Roundabout, which connects to Chebucto Road, Quinpool Road, Herring Cove Road and St. Margarets Bay Road.
Nearby bus stops include:
We are committed to minimizing disruptions to our programs and services throughout this process. More importantly, we can’t wait to welcome you to our new space! There is so much to be excited about. Let’s keep moving forward, together!
If you have any questions about our office move, please email info@autismns.ca.
